Infrastructure Architect

Working remotely as an infrastructure architect in a large enterprise based Irish client, you will be expected to design solutions which are considered enterprise class in terms of operational functionality and security governance.
You would be expected to understand and adapt to the various policies and procedures which govern infrastructure design from inception through to delivery.
Ideally, the candidate will have a number of years in a similar role designing infrastructure solutions, but candidates with a strong interest in infrastructure who have previously been more technical or solution architects will also be considered.
Key ResponsibilitiesWorking with the business to translate business requirements to solution requirements.Aligning stakeholders within the bank to ensure that everybody knows what is achievable and what can be delivered.Creating and maintaining architectural design documents which include technical drawings.Understanding and adapting to bank procedures for designing infrastructure solutions.Designing secure, highly resilient solutions based on bank standards, guidelines and frameworks.Providing reusable design patterns.Ensuring solutions follow vendor and bank best practice.Vendor management.Key Skills/AttributesSME with broad technical knowledge in architecting and designing infrastructure solutions involving compute, storage, and networking components including integration between various different types of environments e.g. AWS, Azure, VMWARE, etc.Ability to articulate technical issues to stakeholders in order that decisions can be made based on accurate information.Honest and hard working.
