Infrastructure Engineer - Big Data Services (Databricks & Snowflake) We have an exciting opportunity with an international organisation looking to set up a new Technology Innovation Hub in Galway.

They work in a hybrid and will be based in Galway city centre.
What You'll Do: Provide support for Databricks and Snowflake platforms.Manage and optimize Databricks on AWS & Azure, including account and workspace administration, Cluster Policies, and Unity Catalog.Implement and maintain Snowflake platform on AWS & Azure.Leverage AWS services like S3, EC2, EKS, Lambda, Route 53, EMR, and more for performance tuning and cost optimization.Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code using tools like Jenkins, GitHub, and Terraform.Troubleshoot technical issues, collaborate with vendor support, and provide IT service management for Incident, Problem, and Change Management.Work with languages such as SQL, Python, PySpark, and Go to optimize processes and solutions.What We're Looking For: Proven experience with Databricks and Snowflake on AWS & Azure.Strong understanding of AWS technologies (e.g., S3, EC2, EKS, CloudWatch, and more).Expertise in monitoring, performance tuning, and cost optimization.Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools and Terraform for infrastructure automation.Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively across teams.Solid experience with ITIL and IT Service Management processes.This role is permanent and comes with a very competitive and attractive salary and benefits package.
