Ireland |Negotiable|Major Investment Corporation The Infrastructure Project Manager will be responsible for executing Technology infrastructure projects supporting internal business, business aligned technology stakeholders and full end-to-end Infrastructure projects. The role requires strong infrastructure Project Management experience with the ability to form projects from inception and good knowledge of waterfall and Agile approaches. Dublin is a new regional office for our client's company, the Project Manager will need to be a 'self-starter' requiring significant communication and collaboration with UK and India teams. Travel to the UK is expected.
Key Responsibilities-Project Manager for IT technology infrastructure projects 'end-to-end'.
-Manage virtual teams of technical specialists from various TIS disciplines to flesh out requirements and deliver technical design, procurement and implementation of solutions.
-Forming appropriate teams and project team structure, depending on Agile or Waterfall.
-Establishing project timelines, action plans, risk management and change control procedures, and monitoring progress against agreed timelines
-Stakeholder Management and communication planning.
-Produce & maintain key project processes, sharepoint site and associated artifacts including project plans, budgets , stakeholder status reports etc.
-Driving appropriate Agile team behaviours and promoting Agile principles, values and techniques within your teams
-Maintain good working relationship with the teams, technology delivery and business customers.
-Manage any 3rd party vendors to assigned projects.
Experience and Qualifications Required-Proven experience in IT Infrastructure project management (preferably including another financial services company)
-Proven experience in delivering Infrastructure projects in both an Agile and Waterfall method
-Track record of successful project delivery -Breadth of knowledge across the infrastructure technology stack -Experience with managing budgets
-Delivery and results focused, with the ability to build and manage client / customer relationships
-Ability to report to steering committees comprised of senior executives
-Demonstrable experience in managing internal and external technology partners
-Ability to analyse complex problems in a structured manner whilst under pressure
-Desire to build effective working relationships with key business and technology stakeholders
-Possesses excellent verbal and written communication skills
-Proven experience in driving appropriate Agile team behaviours and promoting Agile principles, values and techniques within your teams
-Flexible and approachable team-worker -Degree level qualification or equivalent (preferable)
-PRINCE2 or PMP certification (preferable)
-Agile Certifications are beneficial such as AgilePM, Prince2 Agile, SAFe, Scrum Master
