The Position: You will be responsible for providing nursing care to patients in a professional and courteous manner. Additionally, you will perform a wide variety of patient care activities and accommodative services for patients under the direction of the manager/provider. The individual must be enthusiastic about patient care and have the ability to handle varied personalities and personal situations.
As an Infusion RN, a typical day might look like: Greeting and assessing patient's health upon arrival and prior to their infusion appointment. Insertions and discontinuation of peripheral intravenous catheters. Mixing/monitoring of medications, administering premeds and medications in response to changes in patient's conditions. Scheduling follow-up appointments. Documentation of patient visits. Assisting with drug inventory management. This job might be for you if: You have an RN Degree. You have an Active – State Nursing License. You have 2 years' experience working in a healthcare facility. You have 6 months experience inserting IVs. You connect well with others and are comfortable talking to people. You are familiar with NextGen EMT System or another EMR. You have knowledge of CTP & ICD-10 coding practices.
