Responsibilities · To play a significant part in the Poynton SpineCare in-patients' care Work with spine consultants to complete routine in-patient ward rounds.
Interact with each of the Poynton Spine Care experts.
Collaborate with others to guarantee that all patients referred to Poynton SpineCare receive care using a multidisciplinary approach.
As needed, offer nursing colleagues education, preceptorships, and mentorship.
Plan and carry out the treatment of patients with spine disorders and their partners.
Requirements A registered general nurse who is either registered with or able to register with the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI).
Five years of post-registration experience during the previous seven years in an acute hospital setting or related clinical field.
A minimum of three years' experience working as a specialist in spine surgery or orthopaedics.
Experience in management is preferred.
Possess the capacity to carry out their professional duties within their field of practice in a safe and efficient manner. Possess proof of ongoing professional growth.
In accordance with the Quality and Qualifications Ireland (QQI) National Framework, formal post-registration education at level 8 (higher diploma) that is pertinent to the field of specialist practice is preferred.
