This role is central to protecting our financial health by ensuring that all insurance risks are identified, measured, and managed effectively.This is a dynamic role where you will actively review and challenge insurance risks across key areas, such as underwriting, pricing, product development, claims, and reinsurance.

This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with diverse stakeholders, contribute to strategic initiatives, and drive innovation within a rapidly evolving industry.You must have valid Irish/EU work rights to be considered for this position.Duties & Responsibilities:Provide risk opinions on significant business decisions related to insurance activities.Conduct in-depth analysis of emerging risks, including those related to climate change.Lead the development and implementation of risk management processes.Work closely with our business to align risk management strategies with the overall business goals.Ensure compliance with CBI requirements and maintain personal compliance as this is a CF2 role.Mentor and support colleagues to enhance the overall effectiveness of the risk management function.Skills & Experience:Second-line candidates: Proven experience in risk management, particularly within non-life insurance.
Strong understanding of insurance risks and experience with scenario analysis, including climate change considerations.First-line candidates: Experience underwriting, pricing, product development, or claims, with a keen interest in transitioning to second-line risk management.
