Intermediate Electrical Design Engineer

Job DescriptionOur Client is a leading engineering consultancy based in Cork, offering engineering design and project management services on large scale projects.You will be a hands-on, and focused engineering consultant who canuphold our clients approach to quality-driven success.
You will need to have had Building Services Consultancy Design experience and willbe a competent user of Amtech, Relux/Dialux; BIM experience will be advantageous, and you must be able to deliver detailed designs From RIBA inception to handover.
If you can show initiative and have the qualities above, you can pave your way to a successful career with our clientRequirementsIdeally, you will have Building Services Consultancy Design experience and will be a competent user of Amtech, Relux/DialuxMinimum Degree qualification in Electrical Design EngineeringMinimum of 3 years of Electrical Building Services Consultancy Design experience.Commercial sector knowledge/experience is a strong advantage.You must be able to deliver detailed designs From RIBA stages A to F.Proven experience in delivering detailed designs through the full design cycle.Ability to make prompt, disciplined project decisions.
Commercial Awareness.Proficient user of the following:Microsoft Office (Word/Excel/PowerPoint etc.
)Autodesk Applications (AutoCAD/Design Review)Building Information Modelling (BIM) experience will be advantageous.Expert knowledge and experience in the following Electrical design areas: Lighting & Emergency Lighting, Small Power and Data, Fire alarms, CCTV & Intruder Alarms, MV/LV Power Distribution, Containment and BMS.Exhibit leadership qualities whilst working flexibly as part of a team.Excellent attention to detail and interpersonal skills.PackageSalary €45k - €55kCompany benefits includes flexitime, free parking, sports & social club, pension scheme.Career Progression, Opportunity to work on international projects, A culture of Continuous Feedback, 1-week extra leave on reaching 5 years with EDC, 2 extra weeks of paid leave on reaching 10 years with EDC
