As part of their continued growth, they are looking for an experienced Intermediate Quantity Surveyor to join their team.
This role offers the opportunity to work on exciting projects, take on more responsibility, and further develop your career with support from Senior and Managing Quantity Surveyors.
The Role: As an Intermediate Quantity Surveyor, you'll play a crucial role in managing the commercial and contractual aspects of projects.
Working closely with the project and commercial teams, you'll ensure successful project delivery while meeting financial targets.
Key Responsibilities: * Manage project costs from inception to completion, ensuring budgets are adhered to.
* Prepare and review tender documents, contracts, and bills of quantities.
* Procure subcontractors and negotiate agreements to ensure value for money.
* Monitor and control project finances, reporting on cost variations and risks.
* Prepare interim valuations and final accounts.
* Work with project teams to resolve commercial issues and maintain progress.
* Ensure compliance with all contractual and legal requirements.
What We're Looking For: * A degree (or equivalent) in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
* 3+ years of experience in a Quantity Surveying role within the construction industry.
* Strong understanding of cost management, procurement, and contracts * Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to manage stakeholders.
* Proficiency in MS Office and quantity surveying software.
* A proactive approach with strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
