Intermediate / Senior Civil Design Engineer, Galway

OCSC have an immediate requirement for an Intermediate / Senior Civil Design Engineer with 3+ years' experience to join our Galway office. The position would suit a motivated, practical, and adaptable individual who has the ambition to work in a progressive and innovative design consultancy. The post holder will support the delivery of a range of projects across a wide range of sectors. OCSC is an approved CPD Employer by Engineers Ireland and an accredited 'Keepwell' Employer.
Arrangements can be made for flexible hybrid working as necessary.
ROLEThe civil engineer shall ensure design works are completed as per the Client's requirements.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGEBEng (Level 8) in Civil Engineering or equivalent.3+ years' demonstrable post graduate experience in the design of Civil projects including Roads and Drainage.Experience in AutoCAD, Revit, Civils 3D, Site 3D and/or similar or related Civil Engineering design software.Proficiency in MS Word and Excel.DESIRABLE SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGEExcellent written and verbal communication skills.Design experience in the UK / Irish Construction market.A bachelor's degree in civil engineering.Experience working in commercial, education, and residential sectors.Membership of or working towards membership of an appropriate professional institution (e.g., ICE) and a desire to attain Chartered Engineer status.PARTICIPANTS SHALL RECEIVEA competitive salary and package inclusive of:
