Intermediate/Senior Transport Design Engineer - (Hybrid)

Job DescriptionOur client is an award-winning international engineering consultancy, currently undergoing rapid growth.You will be working on the transportation planning and design services for road, rail, bus, greenway, cycleway and pedestrian / urban realm schemes.RequirementsQualified engineer with a minimum of an honours degree in civil engineering (Level 8 in the National Framework of Qualifications) or equivalent5-10 years' postgraduate experience in the civil engineering sectorA minimum of five years' direct experience in design for transportation projectsKnowledge of Irish design standards e.g.
TII Publications, DMURS, National Cycle Manual, etc.Excellent report writing and verbal communication skillsExcellent attention to detail and capacity to produce quality design outputsComfortable working in a busy work environment with tight deadlinesAptitude for problem-solvingFlexible, motivated and focusedA desire to learn and developFluent or highly proficient in spoken and written EnglishGood organisational skillsHighly-motivatedA strong work ethicDesirableChartered membership of a recognised professional body in the engineering sectorExperience preparing detailed works contract specificationsKnowledge of 3D roads design software e.g.
