The company applies its underlying Intelligent System Design strategy to deliver software, hardware and IP that turn design concepts into reality. Cadence customers are the world's most innovative companies, delivering extraordinary electronic products from chips & boards to systems for the most dynamic market applications including consumer, hyperscale computing, 5G communications, automotive, aerospace industrial and health.
Cadence Ireland is entering an exciting time – we are building a new R&D Centre of Excellence here in Ireland. At the IP Group (SSG) we are building world-class high-speed communication and memory IC (Integrated Circuit) products for applications in datacentre SoC processors as well as in consumer, industrial and automotive electronics. Cadence focus on the leading-edge CMOS geometry nodes such as e.g., 3nm TSMC.
We are hiring and looking for interns. If you are passionate about technology and love to learn, work and grow in a multi geography and multi culture organization developing next generation technologies, you should apply as per below:
Job Title: IC Design Intern (SSG Group) Locations: Cork, Galway, Dublin Reports to: Group Director Job Overview: This Internship will introduce you to the basic skills of analog and digital IC design for high-speed communication circuits (e.g. 112 Gbps) used in data centre and cloud applications. You will use Cadence tools such as the Spectre spice simulator and the Virtuoso layout tool to design and implement basic IC circuits. You will also participate in team meetings and learn firsthand how an industry design team builds the world's fastest CMOS communication ICs.
Role responsibilities: The internship offers the opportunity to contribute to the development of the IC products and gain insight into the design environment, methodologies, and tools of mixed signal IC product design teams.
Job Qualifications: Bachelors or Masters program in EEE Interest in finding out more about analog and digital IC design, signal processing (digital and analog), telecommunications and control theory. We're doing work that matters. Help us solve what others can't. Cadence plays a critical role in creating the technologies that modern life depends on.
