Internal Audit Specialist

My client, a global capital markets firm, is currently looking to hire an experienced Audit professional to join their team. You will form an integral part of the global internal audit function.
ResponsibilitiesEvaluation and audit of company activities, predominantly Investment Activities, to ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.Manage regulatory related audit tasks across alternative asset classes.Contribute to implementing the Internal Audit Plan and risk assessment process.Development and implementation of a risk-based audit plan for investment-related activities.Drafting audit reports and presenting to senior management.Assist with risk and internal controls associated with the internal audit function.Ensure that audit practices follow internal procedures and policies and establish a recognised audit program.Requirements5-10+ years Internal Audit experience within a financial services firm or Big4.Experience working with investment and funds products is essential.Professional Accounting Qualification is essential with a background in top 10 audit practice a preference.Experience across regulations such as MiFID, AIFMD & UCITS is an advantage.Strong understanding of investment practices and portfolio management.Experience with data analytics within internal audit is a plus.Contract DetailsThis position will initially commence on a contract basis before moving to permanent in 2025.
