Internal Business Development Role Irish Manufacturer Selling to developers and consulting engineers The Company: Irish owned Manufacturer of materials to the construction industry has an opening in their sales team for a technical sales representative based in their offices in Mallow and Fermoy County Cork. Providing equipment such as insulated panels, purlins, roofing and cladding and structural steel products to industry. The company are committed to a five day turnaround on manufacture and delivery of product, ensuring a reliable service to all their clients. The Role: As an internal sales representative you will deal with contractors, developers and engineers. You will deal with inbound inquiries via email and telephone and also support the external sales team on order processing and leads. You will qualify inbound leads and have full autonomy of the sales process through to the close. You will be comfortable in development new business. You will provide technical support and recommendations to your clients in the industrial and commercial sector. You join a successful team of sales representatives and will be based fully in their offices in Mallow or Fermoy in Cork, working from home is not an option for this position. The Candidate: Internal sales experience in the construction industry is a must. Candidates coming from a trade counter role, or internal sales role within a branch or manufacturer. You must have an understanding of building materials. Priority will be given to applicants who have sold a similar range of roofing, cladding, facades, insulation or waterproofing. You must be a relationship builder and have strong commercial acumen but most of all have a solid approach to new business. Full product training and support will be provided.
