International Tax Accountant

Job Description Due to the continued expansion of the business, King & Moffatt Building Services are looking to hire an in-house International Tax Specialist to join our Finance Team.
This is a newly created role which will give the successful applicant a challenging and broad tax role in industry.
The role will report directly to the Head of Finance and will involve day-to-day interactions with the Accounting & Payroll Managers.
Responsibilities will include: Managing the payroll tax compliance for subsidiaries in the UK, EU and North America Advising the business on cross border matters, particularly PAYE and social security Managing periodic VAT returns for each jurisdiction Overseeing the corporate income tax submissions for each country Ensuring intercompany transactions comply with the Group Transfer Pricing policy Managing the R&D tax process for UK & Ireland Managing tax compliance for onboarding of subcontractors to ensure that our supply chain is compliant with HMRC's interpretation of IR35 and similar legislation in other EU countries Acting as the first point of contact with Tax Authorities in each jurisdiction Advising on tax implications of other ad hoc transactions Qualifications You will need to be CTA qualified with post-qualification experience You will have experience in cross border payroll in the EU You will need strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills including report writing and presentation skills.
