Reporting to the HID International Tax Director, the International Tax Senior Analyst will be a key support for our HID Global division providing advice across functions, business areas and jurisdictions. This position is focused on consultancy and advisory type tasks with a smaller focus on compliance.
This is a 12-month fixed term contract with hybrid working available.

As our International Tax Senior Analyst, you'll support HID's success by: Providing tax advice and support on various business activities and transactionsPartnering with all business areas across the group, providing tax advisory support for various projectsManaging and supporting a range of ad hoc tasks, projects, and activities as needed to meet team and business objectivesConducting research on international tax issues and legislation changes and communicate expected impacts to the wider businessSupporting the identification and implementation of projects to ensure compliance with international tax regulations, including BEPS Pillar II and transfer pricing requirementsAdvising HID finance teams on tax compliance activities including VAT filings, corporate tax returns, tax audits and other related obligationsKeeping the ERP system current with tax legislation changes and support testing to ensure accurate tax functionality in all ERP updatesWhat we will love about your background: Self-motivated with a proactive attitude and can excel both independently and as part of a teamGood communication skills and the ability to liaise with other non-tax professionalsSolid accounting and tax technical skillsAbility to effectively communicate in the English language, both verbally and in writingAbility to read and interpret tax technical documents, legislation and other international tax guidanceExperience with Oracle or similar ERP systemProficient in MS Office applications, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint.Key awareness of business area and/or functional stakeholders with a passion for providing excellent customer serviceYour Experience and Education include: Chartered Tax Advisor/AITI qualified or Chartered Tax Consultant, with an ACA or ACCA qualification a strong advantageMinimum 3-5 years' relevant PQE experienceIndustry experience is desirable but not essentialKnowledge across multiple areas of taxation preferredWhy apply?
