Investment & Financing Manager

BNRG is seeking to bring on a talented Investment & Financing Manager to manage the financing of solar projects, including raising project level structured debt, managing M&A processes and developing and executing bankable power purchase agreements. The role will also involve managing corporate finance processes for BNRG as the business accesses capital markets to finance its growth.
This is a dynamic and key role, working with various international investment banks, financial institutions, capital providers, partners and team members. Reporting to the Head of Commercial, the successful candidate will be responsible for interfacing with executive management and with investors during this period of ambitious growth for BNRG. The role will include some international travel.
The ideal candidate is an accountant or CFA with a minimum of 5 years corporate / project finance experience in infrastructure / renewable energy transactions with very strong financial modelling skills and ability to analyse a deal from an equity perspective.
Responsibilities
1. Manage a portfolio of solar and storage projects across multiple jurisdictions, with full responsibility for the investment case, and constantly maximising value for BNRG.
2. Lead financing transactions for debt and/or equity, leading negotiations, managing due diligence and owning the financial model.
3. Work with existing capital providers to optimise the capital structure of solar assets.
4. Develop and maintain successful relationships with financing parties, including tax equity investors, lenders, project investors and others.
5. Lead detailed financial analysis of various financing options and drive selection and execution of preferred approach.
6. Support corporate finance activities for BNRG, working with Executive Directors to raise and manage corporate level debt facilities and managing investor relations.
7. Play a key team role, collaborate with strategic investors and present associated materials.
