We want committed, values driven staff to join our Dublin team and are currently looking for an Irish Aid Programme Coordinator to be part of the Institutional Funding Support Unit (IFSU) within the International Programmes Directorate (IPD).

The job: As a member of the Institutional Funding Support Unit (IFSU) team, the Irish Aid Programme Coordinator is responsible for internally coordinating the implementation, communication and reporting on Concern's Ireland Civil Society Partnership (ICSP) 2023-2027. This will involve collaboration with various Directorates including International Programmes, Emergency, Strategy, Advocacy and Learning (SAL), Finance, Compliance, Communications and Global Citizenship Education.

If you join us, this is what you will be doing:

Coordinating the implementation of the Long-Term Development (LTD) stream within the Ireland's Civil Society Partnership (ICSP) programme including: Supporting technical advisers on the promotion of learning and research across countries receiving LTD funding; Working with the Grant Compliance Unit (GCU) to raise awareness and answer questions on donor rules and compliance; Providing clear guidance on reporting requirements to country teams; Supporting countries' requests for modifications of their programmes. Leading an internal coordination group with humanitarian colleagues (on the Chronic Humanitarian Crises (CHS) and Acute Humanitarian Crisis (AHC/ACS) streams) and Global Citizenship colleagues as well as Concern's Finance focal person for Irish Aid and M&E advisor. Coordinating the timely production of information for the Annual Report including setting internal deadlines, developing internal templates, providing feedback and support on narrative reports, financial reports and results frameworks and consolidating information into the Irish Aid-provided format to a high standard. Supporting and tracking the achievements of benchmarks and commitments agreed to within the ICSP memorandum of understanding (MOU) and annual contract including strategic objectives and organisational initiatives such as the climate allocation, crisis modifier, beneficiary and transfer management system (BTMS), locally-led development and nexus. Supporting and guiding a mid-term evaluation and any other evaluations of the programme. Supporting the Director of International Programmes on regular and ad hoc Irish Aid related tasks. Building relationships with internal stakeholders. Visiting country programmes as required. External representation:

Supporting inputs required for donor meetings as requested including the programme and governance bilateral meetings and attending external donor meetings as required. Liaising with Concern's Irish Aid counterpart on operational matters as needed. Actively engaging with the Dóchas Results Working Group and any other relevant external groups and reporting back information to relevant Concern teams. Information Management:

Monitor ICSP programme budgets and expenditure across programmes and countries in collaboration with Finance, and liaise with Desk Officers and Regional Directors to ensure expenditure is in line with agreements and request amendments as necessary. Ensure the completion of data for all Irish Aid funded programmes on Concern's internal Grant Management System (GMS). Provide and coordinate internal information updates requested by management. Ensure and support the production of content on Concern's website and Knowledge Hub. Skills you will bring:

Essential:

Undergraduate qualification in field related to humanitarian, development or international affairs. A minimum of three years' experience in an INGO or similar organisation based in the Global South. Highly motivated, uses initiative and works proactively. Excellent interpersonal skills. Excellent writing skills. Excellent attention to detail. Strong communications skills and team player. Ability to work on own initiative. Good financial ability and understanding. Strong understanding of Results-Based Management (RBM). Desirable:

Experience and knowledge of donor requirements an advantage, especially Irish Aid and EU compliance. Previous experience in a similar role an advantage. Experience of Microsoft dynamics and sharepoint systems. French language. The salary is from €54,500 - €62,286 (global band 6) and this is a permanent contract.
