The Risk and Resilience Manager is responsible for maintaining risk management, business continuity and emergency management functions of the IBTS.
The post holder will maintain and continually improve risk management and business continuity strategies for the IBTS, working with senior management to implement these strategies.
Oversight and proactive management of the organisational risk register and developing and testing contingency and emergency planning as part of on going business development.
The role also involves providing support to senior managers and Executive Management Team during incidents.
Essential Criteria: Education Degree or equivalent qualification in Science, Engineering or Business/Finance.
Experience Experience of involvement in risk management and/or business continuity and contingency planning.
Experience of working in a continuous improvement culture.
Experience in delivering complex multidisciplinary projects while communicating with authority to both internal and external stakeholders Demonstrates an understanding of the need for an evidence based approach to policy development and formulation Desirable Criteria: Significant demonstrable experience working at management level within the field of emergency planning/business continuity preferably in the health service/pharmaceutical industry.

Experience of drafting risk assessments.
Experience of drafting and implementing business continuity and/or emergency plans.
Experience of devising and managing risk registers in a complex GMP environment.

The salary scale attached to the post is the Grade VII scale €58,254 to €75,728 (incl.
LSI) pro rata per annum.
Entry point onto the salary scale is dependent upon relevant experience.
