It Audit Manager (X4)

Key Responsibilities Develop and implement audit work programs to assess control risks, fraud risks, and compliance with policies and regulations. This includes planning audit timelines, managing fieldwork, and ensuring timely completion of audits; Identify and evaluate risks associated with IT systems and processes, including cybersecurity threats and data integrity issues. Collaborate with IT and cybersecurity teams to enhance risk management frameworks; Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, including senior management and external auditors. Communicate audit findings and recommendations effectively to ensure understanding and facilitate improvements; Supervise and mentor junior audit staff, providing guidance on audit methodologies and best practices. Foster a collaborative team environment to enhance skill development; Drive initiatives to improve audit processes through the adoption of new technologies, such as automation tools for ongoing monitoring of controls. Evaluate the effectiveness of existing controls and recommend enhancements; Qualifications: A bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Finance, or a related field is typically required. Advanced degrees or professional certifications (e.g., CISA, CISSP) are advantageous. Experience: A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in IT auditing or related fields, preferably within the insurance industry or financial services. Experience in managing audits from planning through to reporting is essential. Desired Skills: Proficiency in IT audit tools and methodologies, as well as a solid understanding of regulatory frameworks specific to the insurance industry (e.g., SOX compliance); Analytical Thinking: Strong analytical skills to assess complex data sets and identify trends or anomalies that may indicate potential issues; Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills are crucial for effectively conveying audit findings to various stakeholders; Problem-Solving Abilities: Ability to develop innovative solutions to address identified risks or inefficiencies within IT systems; Project Management: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines;
