General Summary: Provide and support Corporate Audio Visual Standard Solutions to enable Qualcomm's business units to communicate successfully. Align AV solution standards and practices, in order to ensure that systems perform at the highest level of consistency providing an optimum audio visual experience for our customers/clients. Duties include budgeting, scheduling, and working with AV integrators to meet or exceed our customers' AV requirements.
Executive level customer service skills with the innate sense of urgency, diplomacy and effective verbal communication skills is essential. Must be self-sufficient with excellent time management skills, and be able to provide detailed explanations on reported issues as well as be responsive to local office and IT management. Expert in root cause analysis troubleshooting/triage, support and end-users training on Microsoft Teams Room and associated audio visual systems.
Knowledge on Crestron, Extron, Biamp, MTR products and graphical user interface experience, AV hardware/software knowledge.
Basic knowledge of AV programming.
Basic Knowledge on audio/video signal test generators, laser levels, SPL meters and RTA equipment.
Basic Knowledge on AutoCAD. Support locally managed PA Systems events.
Basic knowledge on Live streaming events & Production setup.
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.OR 1+ year of IT-related work experience with a Bachelor's degree in a non-technical field (e.g., Business, Humanities, Marketing), or related field.OR 3+ years of IT-related work experience with a High school diploma or equivalent.Physical Requirements: Frequently transports and installs equipment up to 20 lbs.
