You will answer queries on basic technical issues and offer advice to solve them.
An excellent IT Helpdesk Support & Admin must have good technical knowledge and be able to communicate effectively to understand the problem and explain its solution.
You must also be customer-oriented and patient to deal with difficult users.
An eye for detail and a drive for perfection are extremely important here.
As an IT Helpdesk Support & Admin at Select Technology Group, each day promises a variety of challenges.
You'll excel in handling routine tasks, like maintaining our asset database, crafting meticulous documentation, and strictly adhering to our internal protocols.
Beyond the routine, your role will see you configuring devices, deploying CCTV solutions, and configuring VOIP phones.
Your responsibilities may shift from assessing cutting-edge systems one day to decommissioning outdated ones the next.  Responsibilities and Duties These include but are not limited to: Overseeing asset control systems.
Facilitating user onboarding and offboarding, including hardware provisioning.
Responsively addressing support requests and ensuring proper ticket management.
Visiting our various locations to provide assistance and perform upgrades.
Enforcing IT policies in a pragmatic and effective manner.
Actively contributing to the enhancement of our internal systems and bolstering security measures.
Serving as a professional ambassador for the IT department, upholding a high standard of conduct and service.  IND1
