This role will be based onsite in Chanelle Loughrea, and you will report to the IT Operations Supervisor/Manager.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Maintain IT Service desk /Operations centre that includes IT support desk, Infrastructure support, Chanelle Networks, Application Support to level 2 helpdesk standards.Liaise with Equipment/service suppliers for procurement of IT Equipment.Setup of users on AD and keep control of stock of computers and asset management.Install, configure, test, maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot end-user workstations/mobile devices and related hardware and software to deliver required desktop service levels.Management of hardware throughout the company (Laptops, PC, Monitors, networks, servers, etc).COMPETENCIES: Strong understanding of IT operation setup and IT helpdesk.Must have knowledge of GPO.Must have strong knowledge of Windows environment.Strong knowledge of LAN and WAN.Understanding of highly technical custom software solutions.Strong knowledge of problem-solving techniques.Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of executives, managers, and subject matter experts.QUALIFICATIONS: 3-5 years' experience in a similar role.Highly Beneficial:Microsoft Qualifications.Experience in Life Science/Regulated environment.Active Directory/Policies.Networking/Firewalls/Routers.PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Health & Safety requirements (e.g., Manual Handling Training)
