The role is varied, and requires a candidate with excellent interpersonal skills, experience engaging with project stakeholders, and the ability to work independently.
An organised and systematic approach to work is a must, as well as in-depth experience running IT Programmes covering both business as ususal and project activities.Key Responsibilities.Provide governance and oversight: Create and maintain governance frameworks to ensure the successful and robust delivery of IT services.Lead IT Projects: Identify emerging projects, supporting stakeholders in developing a comprehensive scope, plan, and resourcing timeline to ensure the effective delivery of ongoing and new IT projects.Support project managers: lead a team of project managers to deliver IT infrastructure and software projects.Manage Risks: Identify risks at a programme level and proactively take steps to engage stakeholders and mitigates risks.Stakeholder Management: Work with senior stakeholders at the client to ensure they are engaged and supporting all IT initiatives.Helpdesk monitoring: Monitor the IT helpdesk at the client, ensuring the effective delivery of IT support to the organisation.QualificationsEssential Skills & Experience 10+ years' experience managing information technology projects.Agile, Waterfall & PRINCE project managementHighly experienced at IT programme management.Experienced at setting up and running programme governance frameworks.Experienced at risk, stakeholder and change management.Experienced at creating IT strategy and implementation plans.Strong interpersonal, analytical, problem-solving skills and presentation skills, with an eye for detail.Essential Skills & Experience 10+ years' experience managing information technology projects.Agile, Waterfall & PRINCE project managementHighly experienced at IT programme management.Experienced at setting up and running programme governance frameworks.Experienced at risk, stakeholder and change management.Experienced at creating IT strategy and implementation plans.Strong interpersonal, analytical, problem-solving skills and presentation skills, with an eye for detail.Additional InformationOur colleagues share our vision and mission.
