Role Purpose The IT Project Manager will add value to HRI/IHRB in managing a portfolio of new and ongoing IT strategic initiatives.
The key responsibilities and competencies required for the role of the IT Project Manager will be: Manage Project Planning & Scope Definition Manage IT Resources Effectively Proactively Identify & Mitigate Project Risks Monitor Project Expenses & Control Budget Manage Project Schedule & Track Progress Implement Quality Assurance & Control Measures Maintain Communication with Project Stakeholders Manage & Escalate Project Issues Prepare Project Reports & Documentation Lead Project Closure & Conduct Evaluations Skills and Experience: Relevant Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related discipline.
Experience in IT project management in a senior-level role.
Proven track record of successfully delivering projects on time, within budget, and meeting quality standards.
Project Management Skills: Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
Experience in project planning, scope management, risk management, and resource allocation.
Adept at scheduling, tracking progress, and identifying and resolving project issues.
Financial Management: Solid understanding of project budgeting and cost control principles.
Ability to monitor project expenses, analyze variances, and implement corrective actions.
Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
Ability to clearly articulate project plans, progress reports, and potential roadblocks.
Technical Skills (Preferred): Experience with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Asana).
Working knowledge of IT infrastructure and operations (a plus).
Additional Desirable Skills: Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent.
Experience in Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
