We are seeking an IT Security Engineer who will play a critical role in driving FoodCloud's cybersecurity strategy, managing IT infrastructure, and ensuring compliance with ISO 27001 standards.

About the Job Lead and manage FoodCloud's cybersecurity function, ensuring systems, infrastructure, and data are secure, compliant and align with FoodCloud's cyber security policy.Monitor compliance with our cyber security policies and procedures.Develop and implement a strategic roadmap to achieve ISO 27001 compliance, including policies, procedures, and risk assessments.Oversee the management and maintenance of FoodCloud's IT infrastructure, including networks, cloud services, and associated IT programmes.Conduct regular system audits and vulnerability assessments for internal systems, applications, and cloud services, addressing identified risks.Monitor emerging security trends, technologies, and threats to ensure the organisation stays ahead of cybersecurity risks.Act as the lead for Information Security Incident Response, ensuring swift and effective resolution of security breaches or risks.Manage employee computer and software setups and maintain system user access across the organisation.Collaborate with internal teams to align IT security policies with business strategies.Provide training and support to employees on cybersecurity best practices and compliance requirements.Additional duties as required per business needs.Key Skills 2+ year's experience in an IT Security Engineer role and previous experience in an SME preferred.Strong knowledge of industry best practice for security compliance and control framework in line with ISO 27001.Degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.Cybersecurity certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or similar.Expertise in public cloud platforms (e.g., Azure and AWS) and associated risk management.Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams.Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset for driving IT security initiatives.Full, clean driver's license as occasional travel to FoodCloud locations may be required.The role is a full-time indefinite term contract based in our Tallaght Offices.
We can also offer flexible working arrangements, such as working from home, in line with role requirements.
This role requires working in-office in Tallaght a minimum of 2-3 days per week, and there may be travel required to other FoodCloud locations.

Salary: €50,000, or depending on experience.
Pension contribution: matching up to 5% of an employee's salary.
