An exciting opportunity for an experienced IT Specialist to join our new client based in Ringaskiddy, Cork on a 12 month FTC contract. Our client is a leading animal nutrition company and this role will be based in their manufacturing facility in West Cork.
The IT specialist will support the IT manager integrated into the larger Finance Department within the organisation.
Key Responsibilities: Onboarding New Staff:Set up and configure new user accounts and profiles.Provide orientation and training to new staff on IT systems, software, and security protocols.Ensure new employees have the necessary hardware, software, and access to systems.ERP Management:Maintain and manage ERP system (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Office).Assist with ERP-related queries and issues.Perform regular updates and patches to the ERP system.Microsoft 365 Administration:Manage user accounts, licenses, and permissions.Provide support for Microsoft 365 applications including Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive.Ensure data security and compliance within Microsoft 365 environment.Troubleshooting and Support:Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues.Provide timely technical support and guidance to staff.Maintain an updated record of IT support requests and resolutions.Qualifications:Qualification in Information Technology, or a related field.Proven experience in IT support, system administration, or a similar role.Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics).Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration.Excellent troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Full Driving License & own transport is essential - travel to other sites in Ireland required.For a confidential discussion and more information on the role, please contact Jessica Kennedy.
