It Support Specialist

IT Support Specialist Contract | €200/day+ | Galway We are seeking an experienced IT Support Specialist to join our client's team in Galway. In this role, you will provide technical support and troubleshoot a variety of IT issues across hardware, software, and network systems. This position requires a proactive individual who can deliver excellent service in a fastpaced environment. Responsibilities: Provide Level 2 support for hardware, software, and network issues. Diagnose and resolve technical issues, ensuring minimal downtime. Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights in various systems. Install, configure, and maintain IT equipment and software. Document and track all incidents and requests using a ticketing system. Assist with IT projects, including upgrades and migrations. Train end users on new technologies and best practices. Requirements: 3+ years of experience in IT support or a related role. Strong knowledge of Windows and macOS environments. Experience with Active Directory, Office 365, and remote support tools. Familiarity with networking concepts, including LAN/WAN, VPNs, and firewalls. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator are a plus.
