Role Overview: Medserv is seeking an enthusiastic, passionate, and driven IT Support Technician to join our IT Department. The team is growing, and we are seeking someone to join our Dublin operation. The role will have the candidate take responsibility for supporting both our staff and customers using our bespoke systems. From hardware setup/management to ticket support, you will be a key support technician to our teams across the business.
Duties and Responsibilities: Deploy new hardware, desktops, and laptops, as well as the software on them. Create account logins and provide ongoing IT support to the office. Deal with Level 1 support tickets and local support issues. Perform manual system interactions (such as ones that require database interactions). Resolve users' computer, system, and hardware issues. Analyze the root cause behind questions and complaints, identifying patterns and solving problems, and liaising with our developer team when necessary. Run reports and queries directly on the database. Parse and process data using Excel. Participate in and contribute to a dynamic IT team. Assist with Azure troubleshooting and management. Requirements & Skills: Be a self-starter and quick learner with a willingness to learn new things to help with your job. Prior experience with Microsoft 365. Be passionate and knowledgeable about computers and technology. Be an excellent problem solver. Have a professional manner when dealing with users and customers.
