As the IT System Administrator, Domain and email management, endpoint deployment, system management, and software deployments will be key aspects of this role, along with managing upgrade projects and assisting in planning IT infrastructure changes.
You will be responsible for the deployment, administration, monitoring, and maintenance of Windows, MacOS, and Linux clients and manage Windows Server environments.
You will be responsible for managing cloud environments, liaising with external hardware and software vendors, and maintaining security standards across the organization.
This role also involves hands-on work with virtualization platforms and will require a keen eye for troubleshooting and problem resolution.
Your Experience: I am looking for candidates with a minimum of three years of experience in enterprise systems administration - projects and helpdesk support.
You should have solid experience in supporting ITIL-based infrastructure services, including the ownership and resolution of incidents, problems, and service requests.
Proficiency in administering Windows Client/Server and MacOS, along with experience in infrastructure management such as DNS, DHCP, AD user management, GPO, WSUS, and software deployments, is essential.
Equally important would be your experience with PowerShell scripting, as would familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS or Microsoft Azure.
You should have a hands-on approach to working with both physical and virtual servers, including storage, firmware upgrades, and patching, along with basic knowledge of Linux operating systems.
Mobile device management across Android and iOS platforms is also highly desirable.
Your Qualifications and Skills: Though not required, a third-level qualification in a relevant discipline would be beneficial.
A keen interest in IT security, experience with VPN technologies, and certificate management would also be valuable.
Networking experience and familiarity with VMware virtualization technologies are pluses, and having up-to-date IT certifications is highly desirable.
