It Systems Manager

My client, a successful Financial Services company, is looking to urgently hire an IT Manager. The role is paying circa €85,000 to €90,000 plus 5% Pension and a generous contribution toward Health cover. It operates a Hybrid work model with 2 days a week required on site (South County Dublin).
ResponsibilitiesManage the IT department, providing an excellent level of service to the organization in line with business needs.Successfully manage and lead a team of 10+ skilled IT professionals including various team leads.Responsible for controlling a multifunctional IT department making decisions on business objectives.Report to senior management and communicate with the business stakeholders on all IT matters.Continually liaise with other departments to assess their IT needs and devise solutions that best address those needs.Plan the implementation of new solutions and provide guidance to the IT team, managed service partners, and other staff within the organization.Experience and SkillsProven IT Management experience including 10+ years of IT experience, with a strong emphasis on people management.Knowledge of the Insurance industry or Financial Services sector is a distinct advantage.Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, enhance, support, and develop an IT team of 10+ staff.Strong stakeholder and communication management skills, with the ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously whilst maintaining expected levels of quality.This is a Microsoft environment.
