It Systems Specialist

IT Systems Specialist Contract | €260-€300/day | Cork A client of mine is seeking a highly skilled IT Systems Specialist to join their team in Cork.
This role focuses on managing IT systems, delivering advanced support, and contributing to strategic IT projects aimed at modernizing and optimizing infrastructure.
Responsibilities: Provide Level 2 and 3 support for Windows and Linux environments, resolving complex technical issues.
Manage Active Directory, including group policies and access control.
Oversee and optimize Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange and Teams.
Assist in implementing and maintaining cloud-based solutions using Azure.
Troubleshoot and maintain network systems, including VLANs, VPNs, and firewalls.
Lead or support ongoing IT infrastructure projects, including migrations and system upgrades.
Create and maintain detailed documentation of systems, processes, and issue resolutions.Requirements: 5+ years of experience in IT support or systems administration, with a strong background in Windows and Linux environments.
Proficiency in Active Directory, Office 365, and network troubleshooting.
Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure and PowerShell scripting.
Strong knowledge of network security and firewalls.
