The responsibilities & competencies required for the role of the IT Technical Analyst with Horse Racing Ireland are as follows: Role Purpose Reporting to the IT Infrastructure & Network Manager, the role will be responsible for the provision of quality technical support service to the end users throughout the Horse Racing Ireland (HRI) Group. Responsibilities: Work as part of a team on the HRI IT Helpdesk providing support for 250 users for the following systems: o Microsoft 365 o WAN & LAN networks o Firewalls o VMWare & Windows Server o Windows 10/11 - support and deployment o OS and Software patching o Varied business applications Ensure best practice is followed as it relates to IT security though out the HRI network.

At least 1-2 years' experience as a computer technician or similar role.
Excellent troubleshooting skills.
Good communication skills and thorough knowledge of computer system and IT components.
Experience with LAN/WAN networks.
Ability to problem solve and promote best practices in IT.
Excellent organisational skills and experience managing multiple tasks simultaneously, in a time sensitive environment.
