Java Developer - Dublin - Banking. Finance, Full Stack, Regulatory

Are you an experienced Java Developer looking for a new challenge? Do you thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment? If so, we have the perfect opportunity for you! We are currently seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer to join our EMEA Regulatory Reporting platform.

As part of our collaborative team, you will have the opportunity to work on some of the most critical projects within Finance Tech. You will be responsible for developing business-critical systems, emphasising stability and performance. Working alongside skilled professionals, you will play a key role in shaping our EMEA Finance Regulatory deliverables in the region.

This is a temporary contract position, with an attractive daily rate ranging from £400 to £500. The contract length is 24 months, offering you stability and the chance to make a long-term impact.

Responsibilities: Develop, enhance, debug, support, maintain, and test software applications that support our business unitsWork in an Agile team-based structure, following SCRUM practisesCollaborate closely with Information Technology staff, business teams, and FLUs throughout the design, coding, and implementation phasesParticipate in the design, development, and implementation of complex applications, utilising new technologiesCoordinate with external programmers to ensure seamless delivery of software applicationsUtilise your front-end engineering skills, including expertise in Angular 1.x/v12, Angular Material v12.x, and server-side code development using JavaDemonstrate comprehensive knowledge of UX and responsive UI design, with a focus on intuitive design principlesConduct performance analysis on large data setsWrite cross-browser and standards-compliant code that meets flexibility, scalability, and performance requirementsLeverage your Oracle PL/SQL skills for intermediate to advanced level database developmentExperience with Continuous Integration build/deployment and toolsets, such as JenkinsFamiliarity with Unit Test Frameworks and Linux, including shell scripting, is highly desirable Qualifications: Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer, with a strong emphasis on Java developmentSolid understanding of software development principles and methodologiesBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related fieldExcellent problem-solving and analytical skillsStrong communication and collaboration abilitiesAbility to work independently, as well as contribute effectively in a team environmentAdaptability to fast-paced and changing business priorities If you're ready to take your Java development skills to the next level and join a dynamic team, apply now!
