Java Software Engineer

Java Engineer - per day 6 - 12 months Galway - Hybrid My client is looking to hire a team of Java Software Engineers, in this role you will be hands-on in designing and implementing product features, working closely with technical leads and architects to create secure, scalable, and resilient cloud-based services using modern software development practices.Skills Required:Expertise in Core Java, including Object-Oriented Design, data structures, Web Services (REST), and design patternsProficiency in Spring Boot and experience with frameworks like Spring WebFluxExperience in cloud platforms, particularly AWS, and containerization tools such as EKS and DockerFamiliarity with GraphQL and Node.jsHands-on experience with version control systems like GitStrong understanding of microservice architectures and 12-factor app patternsExperience with unit and integration test automation (Junit, Spring Boot test)Familiarity with continuous integration pipelines and deployment tools (eg, Jenkins)Ability to work both in a small agile team and independently, with a strong focus on user needsStrong analytical, communication, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficientlyExperience participating in code reviews, environment strategy discussions, and building deployment pipelines
