For the International Information Processing sub-department, we are looking for a full-time, permanent position as soon as possible for a 1085/2024 IT Management Assistant (f/m/d) to strengthen our team at the Bonn location.
Your tasks are: You will be involved in the preparation of the IT budget and monitor budget implementation and the use of funds.
You will monitor the development of IT costs in regular operations and in major projects and develop measures to provide information for sub-department management.
In this context, you will perform comprehensive controlling tasks and contribute to cross-departmental reporting.
You maintain and expand the existing CMDB (Configuration Management Database) as a tool for various controlling tasks and asset management.
As part of various large projects, you will be involved in the preparation of national and Europe-wide tenders and awards (e.g.
preparation of service specifications) and thus form the interface to Central Services.
This includes helping to draw up project concepts for participation in EU funding programs.
You will independently take on the task of complex contract and license management (IT hardware and software), including life cycle management for all contracts and products of the IT sub-department.
You will also be responsible for obtaining and evaluating offers for hardware and software products as well as for services, right through to the awarding of contracts.
You will monitor compliance with Service Level Agreements (SLA) and Service Level Objectives (SLO) with various service providers and take on the role of a service manager.
You will be involved in the expansion of the IT infrastructure and support the implementation and planning of projects in IT operations from a commercial perspective.
You may be responsible for training junior staff in the IT systems management assistant apprenticeship.
What we expect from you: You have a degree in business informatics or business administration with an IT focus or a commercial IT qualification as well as equivalent qualifications, knowledge, skills and experience acquired through professional experience.
You have experience in the tendering of IT projects, also at European level, in accordance with VOL and therefore also have the necessary knowledge of tendering law, e.g.
within the framework of the UfAB (document for tendering and evaluation of IT services).
You have experience in establishing and expanding a contract and license management system.
You have passion and experience in planning and monitoring IT budgets as well as in the further development of IT controlling.
As part of contract management, you have knowledge of contract design in accordance with EVB-IT.
You are characterized by a strong knowledge of current IT controlling methods and tools as well as key figure systems.
In this context, you also have knowledge in the implementation of infrastructure controlling.
You have a very good command of German (language level C2) and a good command of English (at least language level B2).
You have an analytical and conceptual mindset as well as a structured way of working with results-oriented action and independent problem-solving behavior are among your strengths.
You have a high level of goal and service orientation paired with a strong willingness to cooperate and the ability to actively communicate in German and English.
The ability to work in a team, commitment and resilience round off your profile.
