The Georg-Speyer-Haus in Frankfurt am Main is a private foundation and, as the Institute for Tumor Biology and Experimental Therapy, conducts internationally competitive, oncology-oriented research with a special focus on the tumor microenvironment (TME), with the aim of researching the molecular and cellular basis of tumor development for the development of new therapeutic strategies (www.georg-speyer-haus.de).
The academic non-profit research institution is funded by the Federal Ministry of Health and the Hessian Ministry of Science and Art and cooperates closely with the Goethe University Frankfurt and the University Hospital Frankfurt.
