IT Service Desk Manager - Germany (f/m/d) at the Göttingen site Reference number: SERVI007292 What you can expect Managing the day-to-day operations of the Service Desk team to ensure efficient resolution of customer queries and technical issues.
Develop and implement policies and procedures that increase the efficiency and effectiveness of the Service Desk.
Promote strong and continuous communication with local management, with regular comprehensive updates on all IT related matters Perform IT Business Relationship Management (BRM) tasks in collaboration with the respective business partners Close cooperation with the works council and the HR and legal departments What you bring with you At least 5 years' experience in a service desk or technical support role, including at least 3 years in a management position in a multinational company Strong understanding of IT support processes and ITSM software Profound leadership and people management skills Strong problem-solving skills and corresponding organizational skills Experience in managing budgets and IT resources Knowledge of current products, standards, technologies and methods Certification in ITIL with an accompanying understanding of IT service management Very good knowledge of written and spoken English What we offer you Qioptiq offers you all the advantages of a successful, rapidly growing and globally active company: e.g.
