The Federal Joint Committee (G-BA) is the central body of joint self-administration in the healthcare system.
Its most important task is to provide appropriate and economical healthcare for 74 million people with statutory health insurance by specifying the catalog of services at federal level in guidelines for the inpatient, outpatient and dental sectors on the basis of SGB V. We are looking for you in the administration department, full-time, permanent as IT System Administrator (m/f/d) Reference number: 2024/Verw-SB-IT-02 Your new job: You will take care of administration and provide second-level support in the area of server systems, company networks and peripherals to ensure that the entire network infrastructure is stable and runs securely.
You will master the installation, configuration, optimization, monitoring, patch management and troubleshooting of Windows servers in virtual environments (HyperV).
As the central service manager for e-mail services (Exchange Server 2016 or newer), firewall, a portal for the confidential exchange of large amounts of data, data backup, cryptography and virus protection, you will support all core processes of the office.
You will be actively involved in projects to design and optimize the IT infrastructure and in the management and coordination of external service providers.
If required, you will provide user support.
What sets you apart: You have a degree in computer science or have successfully completed vocational training as an IT specialist for system integration.
In addition, you have sound administrator knowledge and at least 2 years of professional experience in IT system administration; proven experience with the configuration and operation of Windows server systems and their integration into heterogeneous network environments round off your profile.
You have proven expertise in Microsoft Windows Server 2012R/2016/2022, Windows 10/11, Microsoft Exchange 2016 or newer and have practical experience with common corporate firewall systems.
You work cooperatively with your team as well as internal and external customers.
You communicate confidently in German (at least C1 level) and can demonstrate very good general and specialist English skills.
You have open eyes and ears for the needs of users and the ability to grasp issues independently and develop solutions to IT problems.
Ideally, you have gained initial experience in the administration of Microsoft SQL Server 2019, Cisco Meeting Server, user knowledge in ITIL or in the implementation of information security standards according to BSI.
