What you can expect The Site Planning service area acts as a municipal planning and engineering office for the network and telecommunications sector.
It plans and installs information and telecommunications systems (ITC) such as LAN, WLAN, classic telephony and VoIP up to the handover of operations, supports IT projects and performs special conceptual tasks.
The service division provides the departments and in-house operations with engineers for construction projects.
As a planning engineer for network and communication technology, you will independently plan, organize and manage the IT infrastructure area for projects of varying complexity (depending on experience).
In construction projects, you will support the local construction management and construction supervision of construction and installation services awarded to third parties.
You will be responsible for the acceptance and controlling of the services you contract out.
You will independently carry out life cycle measures in network and communication technology and act as a contact person for users, service providers and other internal technical areas.
In the case of internal relocations within the city, you will act as the contact person for the IT relocation and the adaptation of TC/VoIP, WLAN and local networks.
You will use standard and LHM's own software tools to plan and document the ICT technology.
