> Scope: Full-time > Fixed term: 2 years > remuneration: TV-L EG 10 > Start: from 01.11.2024 For the Information Systems department of the Communication and Information Center (kiz) we are looking for a System administrator for the personnel management system (m/f/d) With around 160 employees, kiz is the second largest central institution at Ulm University and provides services for research, teaching, studies and administration in the areas of library, information technology and media.
The Information Systems department operates the application systems for the university administration, the systems for e-learning and the library services of the kiz and develops or implements IT applications as part of projects.

Your profile: Completed university degree (Bachelor) in (media, business) informatics or comparable qualification Experience in secure handling and an in-depth understanding of complex and security-critical IT systems for the management of digital administrative processes consisting of database, business logic and presentation layer Knowledge of configuration, maintenance and troubleshooting in client applications such as SVA-GX desirable Knowledge of maintaining and updating the personnel database in PostgreSQL Very good German and good written and spoken English language skills Strong teamwork skills, ability to work under pressure, independent working style and strong communication skills Your tasks: Implementation of target processes relating to personnel management at Ulm University in the personnel management modules of HIS ERP Design, technical implementation and further development of the personnel management system Support for all processes relating to personnel administration (recruitment, sickness, vacation, salary, travel, departure, -) Design, introduction and support of processes and interfaces for payroll accounting via the university's ERP system Design and implementation of operational reporting and statistical evaluations Creation of instructions and training documents for a heterogeneous user group with very different IT affinity in order to support optimal use and implementation of the processes Ulm University and what we offer: https://www.uni-ulm.de/stellenportal Take the chance and shape the university with us!
