The Role: Jr. Account Executive We are seeking energetic and motivated Jr. Account Executives to join our expanding commercial team and drive Skillko's growth to new heights.
Reporting to the Executive Sales Leader, this role is key to building market share and establishing our presence within a growing and competitive sector.
You'll be responsible for growing your territory pipeline, converting leads, and nurturing lasting client relationships that drive brand loyalty.
As a collaborative team member, you'll work closely with marketing, business development, customer success, and product teams to deliver outstanding service and ensure that we continue to innovate and respond to client needs.

This will be an hybrid position based out of the Westport office.
Key Responsibilities Define and build a robust territory plan and sales pipeline.
Collaborate with BDRs and Marketing to execute the territory plan and drive qualified leads into the pipeline.
Qualify inbound and outbound leads, ensuring alignment with sales goals.
Meet with prospects to pitch, demo, and present Skillko's value, effectively advancing the sales process.
Negotiate terms as needed and successfully close deals.
Strategize on new business opportunities and expand the footprint within existing accounts.
Collaborate with Product and Marketing teams to conduct quarterly customer roadmap sessions, enhancing communication and engagement within our client base.
Leverage partner channels to drive indirect business and extend Skillko's market reach.
Requirements 1-2+ years in B2B software sales, or 1-3 years as a BDR/SDR within a SaaS or cloud-based software company High energy, driven, and ambitious with a goal-oriented mindset.
Strong communication skills with a customer-centric approach to sales and service.
Proven consultative selling skills with a track record of closing enterprise deals.
Familiarity with CRM tools and processes, ideally with experience in HubSpot.
Strong technical aptitude and quick learning ability for new software tools.
Proficiency with GSuite (Sheets, Docs, Calendar, Gmail) or similar tools (e.g., MS Excel, MS Word).
