Junior Accounts/Administrator

Job Title: Junior Accounts/Admin Assistant Location:Mullingar Reports to: Accounts Manager/Office Manager Job Overview: We are looking for a detail-oriented and highly organized Junior Accounts/Admin Assistant to join our team.
The role will involve providing administrative and financial support to ensure efficient office operations.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain experience in finance and administration in a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities: Assist with daily accounts payable and receivable tasks, including processing invoices, payments, and receipts.
Data entry of financial transactions into accounting systems (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero).
Maintain accurate and organized financial records.
Support the preparation of financial reports and statements.
Assist with bank reconciliations and petty cash management.
General administrative tasks such as filing, answering phone calls, and responding to emails.
Help with office supply management and other ad hoc administrative duties as needed.
Key Skills & Requirements: Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Familiarity with basic accounting principles is an advantage.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to multitask and work independently or as part of a team.
Eagerness to learn and develop within a financial/administrative role.
Previous experience in an administrative or accounts role is beneficial but not essential.
