We're working with a leading client who is driving innovation in the sector, and they are seeking a Junior Commissioning Engineer to join their team.
What You'll Do: You'll play a pivotal role in the commissioning process of cutting-edge data centre facilities across Europe, with a focus on projects based between Dublin and Amsterdam.
As a Junior Commissioning Engineer, you will ensure that all systems, from electrical distribution to cooling systems, are correctly installed, tested, and ready for operational use.
Your hands-on skills and technical expertise will help bring mission-critical facilities to life.
Key responsibilities include: Supporting the commissioning of HV/LV electrical systems, UPS, generators, switchgear, and other electrical infrastructure.
Conducting tests, inspections, and troubleshooting to ensure system integrity and performance.
Working closely with senior engineers and the project management team to ensure project deadlines and milestones are met.
Liaising with various on-site teams (contractors, vendors, etc.)
to ensure smooth execution of commissioning processes.
Ensuring adherence to health and safety regulations at all times.
What You'll Bring: A degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
Hands-on experience in commissioning or testing of electrical systems, preferably in mission-critical environments such as data centres, industrial, or similar.
A keen interest in HV/LV electrical distribution systems and building services.
Willingness to travel between Dublin and Amsterdam.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
