Terms: Full-time, permanent, office-based to start, with remote working available after 3 months (2 days WFH)

A well-established, busy Sea Freight Forwarding company is currently seeking a Junior Customs Clearance broker based in Dublin 15.
You will be working within an established brokerage team and reporting to the Operations Manager.
You will be one of the key members looking after the customs requirement for an international customer and will process customs clearances ensuring compliance with Irish Revenue and HMRC's requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
ROI & UK import and export entriesPrepare and close transitsElectronic Administrative Document (E-ad) entriesLiaise with customers regarding the requirements for completing the relevant customs entries.Prepare and review import and export documentation, including invoices, bills of lading, and customs declarations.Ensure accurate data entry and classification of goods in compliance with customs regulations.Liaise with internal teams when requested to prepare import and/or export entries.Assisting customers with queries and questions relating to Customs.Completing reports.Ensuring all entries are correctly entered and closed within the given timeframes.Ad hoc dutiesMinimum Requirements: Minimum of 1 year experience in a customs clearance role.Able to follow procedures & instructionsAttention to detail is extremely important.Problem-solving skills.Flexible working hours due to high volume of work as there are times when they need to arrange the clearances after hours (Monday – Friday in the evening and over the weekend) depending on the arrival of the vessels and the warehouse plans.Able to take on projects at the request of managementAble to provide relevant information on requestConfident communicator with excellent communication skills – verbally & writtenFor a confidential discussion on this or any other current opportunity, please contact Garvan Cerasi
