Junior Design Engineer – Medical Device Industry We are partnering with a leading innovator in the medical device sector to find a motivated Junior Design Engineer ready to contribute to groundbreaking projects. This role is based in Tuam, offering a dynamic team environment with substantial growth opportunities in the industry.
Responsibilities As a Junior Design Engineer, you will:
Collaborate with project teams and clients to communicate updates and gather feedback.Support customers, sales, design, and manufacturing teams with technical guidance.Manage and update 3D CAD project models and develop production-related documentation.Design, evaluate, and optimise mechanical components using customer specifications and in-house concepts.Create and refine prototypes to enhance product functionality and manufacturability.Produce detailed assembly drawings and Bills of Materials (BOMs).Requirements Proficiency in 3D CAD modelling; Autodesk Inventor is advantageous.Experienced with Microsoft Office Suite.Willingness to undertake local and international travel for project collaboration.A minimum of a Level 7 or 8 qualification in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.Location Tuam, office-based position.For more details on this role, feel free to reach out to Emma Cawley ****** Kindly note that, given the expected high volume of applications, we can only respond to candidates whose qualifications closely match the specific requirements of the role.
