They deal with the establishment and administration of a large range of Pension, Investment, Life Assurance, Serious Illness and Income Protection Products for both Corporate and Individual Clients.
Are you the right person for the job?
A minimum of 2 years' experience in an office environment preferably in a Life Company or Financial Brokers office and a desire to develop their career in the Life & Pensions industry At a minimum, you should have completed your Leaving Certificate, with a degree or equivalent preferred, though not essential Candidates with Life APA or Pensions APA qualifications, or who are working towards QFA, will have an advantage You will be expected to build technical knowledge and begin or continue studying for the QFA exams.
The company will cover exam costs after successful completion of the probation period Strong working knowledge of MS Office package, in particular Excel, Word & Outlook High levels of accuracy and attention to detail Good tele manner and letter writing skills essential Be well organised, have good time keeping and be capable of working to tight deadlines Excellent interpersonal skills and a good communicator Ability to work independently and to manage own workload Be enthusiastic ambitious self-starter Ability to work in a dynamic team environment What will your role look like?
Processing new business applications to product issue and ongoing administration of these products, dealing with life companies directly and ensuring all tasks are processed accurately and within acceptable timeframes Communicating with corporate clients, individual clients by and email dealing with queries and keeping them updated on the progress of applications, claims and other ad hoc requests Manage a portfolio of Corporate Pension and Risk Scheme's, processing annual renewals, claims, and any other ad hoc tasks as required for the Client / Scheme as required Providing a high standard of administration support while working closely with Advisers, Directors and other team members Carry out all Compliance tasks on each case as required, ensuring all files are compliant at policy issue in line with Central Bank requirements Ad hoc duties as directed by Directors Taking external calls, general office duties What can you expect in return?
