About the Opportunity:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Junior Payment Analyst.
Responsibilities: Assist in processing and reconciling payments, including electronic funds transfers, ACH transactions, and wire transfers. Analyze payment data to identify discrepancies, trends, and areas for improvement. Prepare and maintain accurate reports related to payment activities. Ensure all payment activities comply with internal policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements. Maintain detailed documentation of payment transactions and procedures. Investigate and resolve payment-related issues, such as discrepancies, disputes, and errors. Liaise with banks, vendors, and internal stakeholders to address and resolve concerns. Support the maintenance and enhancement of payment processing systems. Assist in testing and implementing new payment technologies and tools. Communicate effectively with team members and other departments to coordinate payment activities and provide status updates. Assist with special projects and other tasks as required by the finance team. Experienced in KYC and AML compliance, with a strong background in Agile methodologies. Skilled in using CDO Suite or similar data management and reporting tools. Proficient in using Solvas for structured finance and collateral management, with a solid grasp of its functionalities and tools. Skilled in navigating and applying Solvas for complex financial operations, including its integration within rebranded CDO Suite environments. Requirements: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools. Basic understanding of payment processing systems and financial regulations. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Good organizational and time-management skills. Effective written and verbal communication skills.
