Job DescriptionOur Client is one of Ireland's leading EPCm consultancies and a global player in the Semiconductor, Pharma and Biotech sectors with offices in Cork and Dublin.
They have a large number of Pharma projects in the pipeline and will be looking for process engineers to get involved in these projects.You'll be accountable for schedule and technical quality of engineering tasks, as you gain familiarity with the client's expectations, scope, budget, and schedule.
Independently applies engineering techniques and analysis within the disciplineWork performed with minimal supervision; has considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments.
Implements modifies and maintains chemical processesCalculates and organizes data for process flow sheets including instrumentation and control considerations:Models processes and units operationsEnsures proper sequence of operationPrepares specifications and operating instructions for processing equipmentDevelops process flow diagram to define heat and material balanceDevelops process specifications, e.g.
distillation columns, pressure vessels, pumps, compressors, heat exchangers, and fired heatersParticipates in planning, cost development and management, and scheduling for assigned projectsDirects activities to ensure that construction, installation, and operational testing conform to functional specifications, recognized codes and standards, and customer requirementsRequirementsPrimary degree in Chemical EngineeringAt least 3 years of experience working on pharma/biotech projectsStrong communication skills both verbal and writtenStrong analytical and problem-solving skills Forward thinking, eager to learn best practices, and contribute with innovative ideasDisplayed ability to learn quickly and driven to broaden knowledge baseAbility to collaborate and work effectively in a variety of teams, including multi-disciplinary teamsPassion for Engineering and constructionPackageContract rates of €40 - €50 per hour, depending on role18 month contract minimum
