Working with our Communications Team and stakeholders across Aer Lingus, you will support in developing, shooting and editing videos that tell human and business stories about our airline. You will be creating content that will be showcased across a variety of mediums including, email, the internal employee app & digital screens.
With an increasing focus on Internal Communications at our airline, and our digital channel 'AerWaves', we are also becoming increasingly 'news' focused to ensure that our employees receive up to minute news and announcements, and our video and digital content team play an important role in this regard.
Your responsibilities as a Junior Videographer will include:
Reporting to our Digital Content Specialist Director and working closely with the broader communications team.Have a passion for content creation and the technical expertise to produce high quality videos.Collaborate with a variety of teams across the airline to create a continuous stream of content across video and graphic design.Run video shoots: Capture video, record audio, conduct interviews & direct talent across different areas of the business.Edit and post-produce video content.Create motion graphics to enhance storytelling and convey complex ideas and messages in a visually engaging way.Your qualifications and key criteriaTo be considered for the role of Junior Videographer candidates must meet the following criteria:
Ideally a third level qualification in video related / media studies or equivalent experience.Experience in producing high-quality video content, including video-shoot planning, filming and post-production.Experience in Adobe Suite, particularly Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop & Illustrator as well as graphic design software such as Canva.A storyteller with a passion for creating innovative videos to bring ideas to life.Strong communication skills to support your ability to work with various people from across the airline as well as communicating to certain audiences.A good team player and an ability to work collaboratively on projects.Attention to detail is strongly desired and the ability to time manage and with that the ability to be agile in our ever-changing exciting environment.Self-starter, capable of acting on own initiative and exercising good judgement.Flexibility to work unusual hours on occasion and willingness/ability to travel to Aer Lingus locations in the UK, Europe and North America.Ability to collaborate with people in different areas of the business to develop videos that align with our objectives and target audience preferences.Ability to conceptualise and script videos that effectively communicate key messages and values.Fluent in English, both written and spoken.Eligible to live and work in the EU.Hold a current unrestricted worldwide passport.Provide three verifiable references.Able to pass a five year security background check.Able to pass an aviation security vetting process, that includes an enhanced background check or be in possession of a current airside pass for the airport as this position is based in Dublin.Closing Date: 16th September 2024.
