Job OverviewBritvic Ireland is seeking a dynamic and driven Key Account Manager (KAM) to join our HORECA Channel team. In this pivotal role, you will lead the development of key accounts, negotiating and executing strategic plans to drive revenue, volume, and profit growth. As a KAM, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to create compelling customer propositions and Joint Business Plans (JBPs), inspiring internal and external stakeholders to deliver exceptional execution.
This role is FTC for 12 monthsKey ResponsibilitiesAlign Britvic's objectives with customer needs through strategic account planning.Expand customer relationships and identify new business opportunities.Develop and negotiate outlet-level execution plans, often in the form of JBPs.Manage distribution, execution plans, price increases, and forecasting.Optimize customer performance through cross-functional collaboration.Spend time in the field to gain insights, evaluate execution, and support teams.Achieve targets for Revenue, Volume, Trading Contribution, and Average Retail Price.Manage P&L administration, budgets, and ensure compliance with guidelines.RequirementsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills with strong commercial acumen.Proven experience in developing and growing accounts, and delivering new business wins.Proficiency in P&L management, forecasting, selling, and negotiation.Experience in planning, time management, and IT proficiency.Understanding of budget management, JBP/contract negotiation, and customer relationship building.Self-motivated, accountable, adaptable, and a proven team player.Proficiency with internal systems like SAC, XTEL, Nielsen, and KANTAR.Key BehaviorsCourageous and ambitious, seeking new ways to drive exceptional execution.Collaborative and committed to building strong customer relationships.Confident and responsible in managing commercial investments.Responsive and adaptable, acting with pace to deliver results.Inclusive and supportive, fostering a stronger team environment.Qualifications & Desirable ExperienceA bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field is required.Experience within the FMCG industry, preferably with knowledge of the beverage and/or HORECA sector.Proven track record of exceeding KPIs and achieving high-performance recognition.Demonstrated ability to balance internal margin growth while growing customer category and margin.Proven track record in FMCG sales or equivalent experience.Proven ability to build and sustain strong relationships with customers.Excellent negotiation skills, with a track record of successful deal-making.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Proficiency in IT, particularly in commercial and sales systems.Effective planning and organizational skills.Strong commercial acumen and financial literacy.
